I just ordered the book!! First of all, the first page to the book is absolutely amazing!! That's what got me suck in!! I hope to read this whole book in a day or 2!!
I loved this fantasy novel, it was a page turner for me and I was deeply invested in these cahracter's journey. I would love to know, as an aspiring writer myself, how much time it took you to finish the first draft of wintersong and what resources, beside the folk lores, to draw upon to flesh out these characters alive and interesting, especially liesl. Also the amount of research I felt you've done, seeming effortlessly though, about the technalities of music, regarding that how did you go about it. What elements to include, and deciding essential enough to give depth and still keeping readers interested in the story, how did you make those decisions? I loved reading your work, for months, liesl and goblin king stayed in my head and still do in my heart.
