I'm hopeful things will change soon, mostly because it seems like everyone I've spoken to in publishing (including my own publisher) feels this way—individually, if not necessarily collectively. I'm a social media diet, as it were, except for the bare minimum marketing requirements, and I've already seen huge improvement in my creativity, but also my ability to find media to connect to. 💀
