Today I will be examining the greatest and most obvious influence on Wintersong: Jim Henson’s last and arguably least successful movie, Labyrinth.

The 80s were already half-over by the time I was born, but something about its aesthetic still clings to me, especially its over-the-top, weird, melodramatic, goth bits.
