I’m not on social media much anymore (I’m drafting book 2 of the Guardians of Dawn series at the moment, plus there are other reasons I’ve stayed that I’ve been trying to enumerate in an essay for months lol), but lately, whenever I leave my little BTS bubble on Twitter to see what’s happening on the book side of things, I’ve been noticing a general sense of, well…we’ll call it muted doom.
Traditional book publishing, it seems, is reaching a crisis point where people can no longer look away from its many and varied systemic problems.
