introducing...guardians of dawn! (AKA secret project)
Guys, I'm so, so, so thrilled to finally be able to announce my next series! As it often happens with publishing, you get a piece of good news and then have to sit on it for a bit while everyone gets all their ducks in a row. I've actually been sitting on this for a few months; I actually floated the idea by my editor in the spring then gave the proposal to her earlier this summer. I'll admit that I was a little nervous about what she would think: it's not quite the romantic gothic fantasy of Wintersong or Shadowsong, but it was definitely an idea that is kind of near and dear to my heart.
If I wrote my first two books for the moody goth kid I had been, then Guardians of Dawn was written for the same teenage girl who also fell in love with anime and K-dramas.
