The Starbucks unicorn frappuccino. It may look great on my Instagram, but it is absolutely vile. It tastes mostly of artificial strawberry until you hit the blue syrup, whereupon it tastes of the sour blood of pixies and regret. 0/10 do not recommend.

MISSING: time for health, hygiene, and hobbies

I am on deadline.

That's really all that can be said about this month, really. To be honest, I am really, really struggling with said deadline. Writing book 2 has been a beast, involving things like starting from scratch 3 times...including once last week. It's due at the end of the month. No, I'm not panicking, what are you talking about?

I'm learning a lot about myself as an author these days. I'm not talking about the craft of writing; I'm speaking of being a professional writer—keyword: professional, as in "paid." Being an author is different from being a writer. Before, I could write with impunity. I could write when the muse struck, when I had time, when I was in the right headspace. Now…
